At the office: combine the sweater with a blue checked shirt and dark grey wool trousers for a calm tone-on-tone look. Black leather loafers complete the outfit.

Smart casual: chinos in dark brown or corduroy trousers add warmth to the cool light grey. Pair them with brown suede boots.

With jeans: dark blue jeans with navy suede sneakers keep the look fresh and relaxed.

Colours that work: navy, black, bottle green and light pink. A navy peacoat or a black leather jacket on top creates a nice contrast.

To make sure your sweater lasts a long time, wash it on a wool programme at 30 degrees Celsius. Turn the sweater inside out beforehand. Use a wool-friendly detergent, without fabric softener. After washing, reshape the sweater while it is still wet and let it dry flat. Do not put it in the dryer.
